Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate mainly by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
We have made special days & times available to accept walk-ins, and do our best to accommodate walk-ins beyond these days/times whenever possible. However, we want to be sure we can dedicate the time needed for the care that our patients and clients deserve. For this reason, there may be times when we will not be able to accommodate walk-ins and therefore strongly recommend that clients schedule appointments whenever possible.

For those who may have a 'challenging' work schedule, we also offer "admittance exams" in which your pet may be dropped off with us and cared for before the end of the day. Please call to inquire about this service.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
Please do your best to arrive on time.  If you do happen to be late for an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you.  Keep in mind that it may be necessary to reschedule your pet's appointment if there are time constraints. We want to make sure our doctors can give your pet the undivided attention and thorough examination that you deserve!

For your convenience, admittance exams are available. An admittance exam means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually, we will ask you to drop off your pet sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, he will give you a call to go over the diagnosis, discuss treatment plans, and/or give you discharge instructions.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. Once your pet has been examined by our doctors, we will be happy to work up an estimate prior to any procedure being performed so there are no "surprises" at discharge.
